A management buyout, or MBO, is a transaction where a company’s existing leadership team acquires ownership of the business, usually with backing from a private equity partner or other investor. The structure puts day to day operational control firmly in the hands of leaders who already understand the business deeply. For Intwo, the buyout secures long-term independence, aligns ownership with the people running the company, and brings in Synergia’s capital and expertise to accelerate growth and expansion plans.

For Intwo customers, the Synergia partnership means continued investment in the services they already rely on, plus a faster pace of innovation. The leadership team that built the company’s Microsoft cloud expertise remains in place, with additional capital and strategic support behind them. Customers can expect deeper capabilities across Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, AI, Power Platform, and cybersecurity, along with planned acquisitions that broaden Intwo’s reach. Service delivery from the existing 300 plus specialists across eight offices continues without disruption.

Buy and build is a private equity growth strategy that combines organic expansion with targeted acquisitions. As Synergia’s Daan Legro outlined, Intwo plans to use this approach across key areas including Dynamics 365, security, data, and AI. The idea is to scale faster by acquiring specialist capabilities that complement existing strengths rather than building every new service from scratch. For customers, this means access to broader expertise under one trusted provider as Intwo expands its global footprint.

Intwo holds some of the most exclusive Microsoft accreditations available. We are a Solution Designation Partner across Microsoft’s Azure Digital and App Innovation, Infrastructure, Security, and Modern Work portfolios. Intwo also belongs to the Azure Elite Group, holds Azure Expert MSP status, and is a member of the Dynamics Inner Circle 2023/2024, which Microsoft reserves for top performing partners worldwide. We are one of the select numbers of Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers with the highest certifications across the full Microsoft stack.

Intwo focuses on six core industries: manufacturing, construction, real estate, retail, distribution, and professional services. Our team holds deep expertise in each sector, which shapes how Microsoft cloud, ERP, and AI solutions are tailored to the specific workflows, compliance requirements, and operational realities customers face. This industry focus is one reason Intwo has been able to support more than 1,000 customers globally with their business and IT challenges while maintaining strong specialist depth rather than spreading too thin.

Intwo brings 25 years of experience and more than 300 specialists working across eight offices worldwide. We have supported over 1,000 customers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Local presence includes offices in Amsterdam, Bangalore, Canada, Dubai, KSA, Latin America, Qatar, San Diego, Seattle, Singapore, and Australia, which means customers get regional expertise on the ground combined with consistent global delivery standards. This footprint supports Intwo’s plans to scale further alongside Synergia.

Intwo’s relationship with Microsoft runs deep. As Niels Jensen, Microsoft’s Director of ERP Partner Strategy, noted in the buyout announcement, Intwo has been a trusted Microsoft partner for many years and carries Solution Designation Partner status across Azure Digital and App Innovation, Infrastructure, Security, and Modern Work. We also hold Azure Expert MSP and Dynamics Inner Circle accreditations, which palces us among the top tier of Microsoft cloud partners globally. This relationship gives customers direct access to leading edge Microsoft capabilities.

With Synergia’s backing, Intwo plans to accelerate growth through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions under a buy and build approach. Priority areas include Dynamics 365, security, data, and AI, where customer demand continues to climb. The leadership team led by CEO Berend-Jan van Maanen will continue building out service capabilities across Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, modern workplace, AI, and cybersecurity for the company’s 1,000 plus global customers, while expanding the regional footprint in key growth markets.
