  • Boost Productivity: How AI Supercharges Your Daily Work Tasks

Microsoft 365 Copilot acts as your work assistant, harnessing the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) and your data, including calendar, emails, chats, documents, and meetings.

This integration transforms your words into an incredibly potent productivity tool while maintaining strong data security and privacy standards within the enterprise.

Copilot is seamlessly integrated into Microsoft 365 and operates within apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, empowering you to unlock creativity, enhance productivity, and improve skills.

Level up your writing with Copilot: collaborate, summarize, and strengthen content in Microsoft Word

We have all used Microsoft Word, and with Copilot you will be able to collaborate, write, edit, and summarize content seamlessly. By providing a short prompt, Copilot generates an initial draft, incorporating relevant data from your organization. Copilot can add content to existing documents, summarize text, and revise sections for greater conciseness. Additionally, Copilot offers suggested tones, ranging from professional to thankful, to assist in setting the appropriate mood. Furthermore, it provides writing suggestions to strengthen arguments and address inconsistencies.

Below are some examples on how Microsoft 365 Copilot can provide a better experience and enhanced capabilities while working with Word to:

  • Generate a two-page project proposal using information from both a document and a spreadsheet.
  • Summarize and shorten the third paragraph while adopting a more casual tone.
  • Produce a one-page preliminary version by following a rough outline.

During this example we are combining content using Microsoft 365 Copilot by combining notes from a OneNote file and a Microsoft Word document.

After the content from the OneNote and Word files have been combined, a separate document is generated as seen below. You may choose to keep the content, adjust or even generate the information once again.

Powerful presentations made effortless: unleash your creativity with Copilot in PowerPoint

Copilot in PowerPoint acts as your creative collaborator, helping you craft captivating presentations. As your storytelling partner, Copilot can effortlessly convert existing written documents into visually appealing slides complete with speaker notes and sources. Alternatively, it can initiate a new presentation based on a simple prompt or outline. With just a click, you can condense lengthy presentations, and Copilot readily follows natural language commands to adjust layouts, reformat text, and precisely time animations for a polished delivery. Here are a few examples of commands and prompts you can experiment with:

  • Generate a five-slide presentation by using content from a Word document and incorporate suitable stock photos to enhance visual appeal.
  • Condense the current presentation into a concise three-slide summary, maintaining the key information.
  • Reformat the three bullet points into three columns, each accompanied by an appropriate picture to make the content more engaging.

During the following scenario, the user requested Copilot to create a short presentation based on a customer proposal. Copilot then created a visually appealing five-slide presentation in no time while also estimating how much time it would take the speaker to conduct the presentation.

Excel made effortless: supercharge data analysis and visualization with Copilot

Copilot in Excel is used as a collaborative tool that assists you in analyzing and delving into your data. You can interact with Copilot using natural language queries instead of relying solely on formulas. By doing so, Copilot can uncover correlations, propose what-if scenarios, and even suggest new formulas based on your inquiries. The remarkable feature is that Copilot generates models to aid your data exploration without altering the original dataset. Whether you want to identify trends, create compelling visualizations, or seek recommendations to achieve specific outcomes, Copilot is at your service.

Below are a few examples of use cases you can use with Copilot:

  • Obtain a detailed breakdown of sales categorized by type and channel and insert the information into a table.
  • Forecast the impact of modifying a specific variable and generate a chart to visually represent the results.
  • Simulate how altering the growth rate for a particular variable would influence the gross margin.

During the following example, we can see how we use M365 Copilot to analyze the following data set.

To provide:

  • Sales trends such as which customers have had positive or negative results.
  • The costs associated with manufacturing in comparison to previous quarters.
  • How much impact low discount products had on total sales during the past month.
